Vaya, which accommodates a wide range of containers from transparent glass vials to brown paper bags, is a handheld Raman device that enables best-in-class testing through transparent containers and innovative handheld testing through opaque containers, allowing for the rapid transfer of raw materials to production in the shortest time possible. With Vaya, current testing protocols are improved, enabling 100% identification testing instead of small-sample testing. Even if regulatory authorities impose more tests in the future, it can transition to a higher throughput process without adding equipment. The Vaya system combines traditional Raman with its unique Spatially Offset Raman Spectroscopy (SORS), accommodating a wide range of sample/container combinations. Its workflow, specialized for raw material identification testing, allows for high-speed identification fully compliant with regulations, and can be easily deployed and used with minimal training and operator skill.
